Purpose of Phase III

Phase III establishes a Marin-based clean-energy and clean-air workforce capable of operating, maintaining, and supporting the MarinONE installation while preparing participants for future replication and deployment of CleanAir™ technologies.

This phase is not speculative training. It is workforce development tied to a real, operating infrastructure asset located in Marin County, designed to produce measurable public benefit while creating durable technical and operational skills.

Marin-Focused Training Framework

CAFA’s workforce development program in Marin County is structured around hands-on, applied learning, directly connected to the operation of the MarinONE system and related CleanAir™ technologies.

Training programs focus on preparing participants to:

  • Assist in the operation and monitoring of the MarinONE SolarAir™ Cylinder.

  • Support assembly, maintenance, and inspection activities associated with clean-air and clean-energy systems.

  • Understand the principles of vertical airflow, thermal convection, and passive solar concentration used in CleanAir™ technologies.

  • Participate in community-facing education, outreach, and demonstration activities associated with public infrastructure.

Instruction emphasizes practical competence over abstract theory, ensuring participants are equipped to contribute meaningfully to real-world deployments.

Addressing Local Workforce Needs in Marin

Phase III is designed in recognition of changing workforce conditions, including individuals seeking new employment pathways who may be motivated but underprepared for emerging clean-energy and climate-improvement roles.

CAFA’s Marin-based programs provide structured opportunities for participants to:

  • Gain exposure to next-generation clean-energy production systems.

  • Develop transferable skills relevant to energy, infrastructure, and environmental operations.

  • Participate in a growing sector focused on reduced energy costs, environmental protection, and atmospheric CO₂ reduction.

By anchoring training to a functioning public installation, CAFA avoids abstract workforce promises and instead delivers experience-based capability.

Technology-Aligned Skill Development

Training activities are aligned with CleanAir™ and SolarAirPower™ system characteristics, including:

  • Large-scale electricity generation using natural airflow and solar-driven convection.

  • System configurations capable of simultaneous energy production and atmospheric CO₂ reduction.

  • Operational practices designed to support long-term ecosystem protection and climate stabilization.

Participants gain familiarity with technologies intended for deployment near communities, hospitals, industrial centers, and public facilities, reflecting real use cases rather than laboratory settings.

Pathway to Scaled Deployment

Phase III workforce development in Marin serves as the initial model for broader regional and future national training efforts. As additional CleanAir™ systems are deployed, the Marin workforce provides:

  • A trained operational base.

  • Demonstrated proof of workforce readiness.

  • A replicable framework for climate-improvement employment.

The objective is to establish Marin County as an early center for well-trained, climate-improvement personnel capable of supporting expanded clean-air and clean-energy infrastructure.

Transparency and Public Benefit

Workforce development activities are conducted with transparency and tied directly to MarinONE’s public mission. Training outcomes, participation levels, and program evolution will be communicated alongside system performance and operational updates.

Phase III ensures that MarinONE delivers not only infrastructure, but human capability—aligning technology deployment with long-term community benefit.
